Learn to Play Hockey 1 ("LTPH 1") is for the beginning hockey player who has successfully passed Learn to Play Hockey Intro or equivalent. Skaters who have participated in a Learn to Skate program other than at The Ice Ranch should register for Learn to Play Hockey 1. LTPH 1 builds on skating skills developed in the Intro class. Instructors will work with students on edge control, forward striding, and backward striding. The basics of puck control will be introduced during the class.
