Required equipment: Helmet w/cage, Gloves, Hockey Pants, Athletic Cup, Hockey Skates, Elbow Pads, Shin Pads, Mouth Guard and Stick.
Learn to Play Hockey 2 is for skaters who have completed Hockey 1 or possess a similar skill level (as recommended by coaching staff). This session will focus on strengthening existing skating while transitioning from forwards to backwards smoothly. Students will learn to master forwards and backwards crossovers and edge control. This class will begin to focus on stick handling, puck control while skating, passing as well as shooting. Skaters will be divided by skill level during this session to better serve their skill level. Players with enough skill and comfort with the game will progress into the Learn to Play Hockey 3.
