COACHES MANDATORY MEETING

"ONE" Adult Representative/Coach MUST BE PRESENT for this MANDATORY meeting per team.

Any Team NOT represented simply forfeits their position as a part of the league as it will sell out once again due to limited ice for the league.

League Overview 

Dates: June 1st 2024-August 11th, 2024

 2024 RICCI Ice Ranch 3 v 3 League Overview: 

Open to players born in 2015 through 2005.  Each team will play 8-9 games and at least 1 playoff game.  Games will begin the first week of June 1st, 2024.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REGISTER WITH A TEAM. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A ROSTER POSITION FOR ANY "INDIVIDUALS" THAT REGISTER AS "FREE AGENTS". (Get a team together and submit the team name and level/division of play for the team to the league director Matt McGregor mmcgregor@theiceranch.com) First Come, First Serve.

If a Team Does NOT have 12 players + 1 goalie... REGISTERED FREE AGENTS WILL BE ADDED TO THAT TEAM ROSTER.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED WEEKLY ON SATURDAYS FOR EACH AGE GROUP/DIVISION.
 

DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

LEAGUE FEES:  $285.00 per player

PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO FIRST GAME.

$305.00 starting May 2nd, 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS CAN BE MADE!

Teams must have at least 10 players and no more than 13.  NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. (12 skaters and 1 goalie).

Divisions:  Teams must register for the division they will be playing in next season. Players and teams may “play up” a division but MAY NOT play down.  A minimum of 4 teams are required to tier a division.  Please play in the highest division possible to ensure a competitive league.  If you are uncertain which level to register at, please contact us.    

Tiering will be based on our ranking system.  Each player will receive a number based on the level that he or she played at during the previous winter season.  If a player is moving up a division, we will subtract 1 point from that player’s score (i.e. a PW AAA player moving up to the Bantam division will have a score of 5 minus 1 for a total of 4).  We will then take the average of all the players on your team to determine your team average.  Teams will be grouped in appropriate tiers based on your team average.  Coaches will no longer be able to choose their team’s tier – your team will be assigned to a tier.

·         4 Points – AA
·         5 Points – AAA 

Please be advised that we reserve the right to move teams within the first month to make games more competitive.
