Former Denver University Head Hockey, Tampa Bay Lightning assistant -George Gwozdecky’s Summer 2019 Camp:

The George Gwozdecky Summer Development Camp is designed to improve individual skills, enhance the understanding of the game and inspire the camper using the skills of our experienced staff in a fun and competitive environment.

The on-ice sessions will combine technical segments with high tempo drills and competitive game situations that create a positive learning environment. During the technical segments of each session, advanced skills will be taught and progress into fun and competitive game-like situations. It is also our intention to inspire each camper to establish their hockey goals while gaining an understanding of the dedication and commitment necessary to achieve those goals.

It is preferred that a camper has a competitive playing background with at least a minor A level of experience. We also understand that playing experiences differ so please contact us if you have questions. Age specific groups within the camp will be established. Once underway, adjustments may be made due to skill level, experience and size.

Coach George is the only person to win the NCAA National Championship as a player (with Wisconsin in 1977), assistant coach (at Michigan State in 1986), and head coach with Denver (2004 and 2005).  George has been a part of over 20+ Championships as a player and a coach in during his hockey career. He has coached numerous past and present NHL players.
